- How to write a report
- Automation of deployment of code into the system using the various tools occurs in the deployment phase during the software development lifecycle. IaC tools are used to keep the configuration of all the systems consistent, as well as save the deployment time.
- Many tools already exists in the market, and they can vary with different characteristics. Enterprises have different requirements and finding a suitable solution for their use case can be challenging. The aim is to find out the best solution for different use cases by comparing each tool with features, efficiency and compatibility of the tool on different platforms. There are different IaC tools which are following: Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack and bash scripts.
- Hypothesis:
- In an experiment carried out, the cloud servers with same hardware specifications were used along with the same operating system, the Ansible was 20% faster than Chef in the deployment.
